Frostgard might be the most accurate rendition of what I feel when reading The Silmarillion or Tolkien in general. Beautiful, soft, soothing and noble. Ithildin
I must admit I'm kinda jealous of musician that can carry so much feeling while being so quiet, calm and minimalist. This is great music and you should take a break of life and carefully listen to it Ithildin

Deep-reaching and dense darkness encroaches and extends its tendrils out of every crack of the weathered stone walls. The compositions are very simple but sound extraordinarily oppressive and immersive. Like the seemingly physical weight of fear and distress while walking through the unknown. The slow drums complete the foreboding and funereal aura. MarsDragoner

If nostalgia for an age where creatures of myth walked together with the children of men had a soundtrack, this album would be it. Also, a touching reminder that we can forego wealth and power for wilderness and freedom, if we so choose. emanuele127
